The world has witnessed several effects of the climate change phenomenon such as, drought, floods, forest fires and spread of diseases. It is reflected on the human life on the earth, affecting the man’s activities, his social, economic and environmental security, water and food security. Africa is the most affected continent by the climate changes although it is the least continent that pollutes the atmosphere. Africa has a geographic location leading to a rise in temperature in addition to the fragility of natural resources and the overpopulation that drain these resources. Furthermore, most African countries suffer from the debts and poverty. Hence, they cannot overcome the climate change alone. Several African countries topped by Egypt have sought to lay down different scenarios with a view to curbing and adapting to this problem. Egypt has played a main role in achieving the sustainable development in Africa on all levels. It is too fundamental to study Egypt’s positive role in fighting the climate change in Africa, addressing the features and reasons of the climate change, monitoring all conferences on the climate change held all over the world, and concluding with some recommendations to overcome and adapt to the climate change.
