The effects of the tripartite statement issued by China, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Iran, which stipulates the resumption of diplomatic relations between Riyadh and Tehran and the reopening of their embassies within a maximum period of two months, provided that this is done within the framework of respect for the sovereignty of countries and non-interference in their internal affairs - many regional reactions And international, especially with regard to its impact on the Arab region. The agreement was not a surprise, against the backdrop of the talks that had been taking place between Riyadh and Tehran, mediated by Iraq, for quite some time, while the timing and the mediator were the same. But the Chinese mediation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iran can be understood within the framework of the global role that China has finally begun to play, especially in light of the decline of American influence in the region after Washington’s withdrawal from Afghanistan and Iraq, so, it is important to study the impact of the Saudi-Iranian agreement on the Arab region, and anticipating the future of the Arab region after the signing of the agreement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Iran.
