Abstract

The future of Egyptian foreign policy towards developments in the Palestinian issue is fundamentally linked to developments in the Palestinian scene, and is also fundamentally linked to the radical transformations in the Israeli scene and the trend toward extremism and extremism in an exaggerated manner, and in light of the American administration’s inability to take concrete procedures or measures to bring the two parties together, which requires... Egypt is prepared and working on multiple and diverse paths, options, and scenarios to achieve its highest national interests in light of any potential developments. It is important to study the foundations of Egyptian foreign policy towards the Palestinian issue, and the pivotal role in this issue compared to the role of other regional and international powers. Egypt has not and will not abandon its role as a regional power that leads, interacts and supports the Palestinian issue. Therefore, measures and decisions of a political nature were taken to support the Palestinian cause since its inception, and this was represented in the positions of its presidents and officials in regional and international forums and conferences, as well as in confronting the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people during recent years.
